EXPORT MARKET
With the liberalization of the World’s
economy under the WTO and the implementation
of Asean Free Trade Area (AFTA) for the automotive
industry by the year 2005, the ensuing intense
competition among the global automotive components
manufacturers will be inevitable. Thus, Belton
Group has aggressively embarked on its drive
to further enhance its global presence by
consistently developing and strengthening
its existing export markets as well as exploring
into new export markets over the past few
years. These could be easily achieved as the
export department consists of a team of dynamic,
experienced and technically sound marketing
personnel backed by the group's state-of-the-art
manufacturing and testing facilities.
In 2003, export sales constitutes to about
50% of the Group’s turnover and is expected
to increase to well over 70% by the year 2005.
Currently, Belton export its manufactured
products to almost 50 countries worldwide
and expect to further enhance its global presence
in the coming years.
